School Governance Teams to Solicit Input Proposed 2009-2010 School Calendars

Marietta Sixth Grade Academy Signs Six New Partners in Education
Marietta Sixth Grade Academy recently welcomed six new Partners in Education at a special signing ceremony held at the school on Nov. 11, 2008. The Partners in Education program sponsored by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, and the Marietta City Schools and Cobb County School Systems, is designed to establish a voluntary relationship between a business or organization and a school. Choice Academies Information Session, Dec. 10
A Choice Academies information session is scheduled Dec. 10, 2008 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Cobb Central Library, 266 Roswell Street in Marietta. This informative session will help parents and community members learn more about the Choice Academies application process, and the unique academic programs offered at each school.
