Auditions

Advanced Musical Theatre students are MSGA's elite audition-only musical performance workshop class. This course focuses on the art of acting and the essentials of play production. In this "workshop"- style class, students will receive vocal, dance, and acting instruction to prepare them for a future in the performing arts. The Academy Actors perform the school musical, various showcase pieces, and skits for school/community performances. Students in this group will represent MSGA at local, state, and national events throughout the school year.

Prepare two songs from our list below. You may only be asked to sing one.

You will also need to prepare one piece of your choice (only used at judges' request) and one monologue (1 minute maximum). A dance will be taught at the audition.
