Anime and Manga club will be a group of like-minded students who will meet to explore, discuss, promote, and show anime and manga and will focus on broadening Japanese cultural understanding.

Enjoy playing board games with your friends? Join Board Game Club! In Board Game Club, students will get involved in friendly competitions. Each time Board Game Club meets, students will participate in different types of games and activities. Club members will become knowledgeable about different styles of games and their rules.

Do you love to read? Do you like to share your opinions about literature with your friends? If so, then book club is for you! Students will be given an interest survey to select our 3-4 books for the year. After reading sections of the book, we will meet to discuss our thoughts on the books, their characters, and the authors. We may even watch scenes from the books’ movies.

It’s great to be a girl today! How do we figure out what our strengths and passions are? How do we figure out how to make our dreams come true? This group is all about finding your true self, becoming a young lady to be proud of, and following your dreams.

Would you like the chance to learn about the French culture, holidays, food, crafts, and games? Then, join French Club so you can learn all these fun things and more!

Do you like to play in the dirt? Join the Gardening Club and learn what it takes to make a great garden- flower and vegetable!

The geography club will be a fun, interactive experience, “traveling around the world.” We will be conducting geographical research, viewing and studying maps, playing interactive map games, as well as observing the terrain of our world.

The Girl’s Club will focus on etiquette, conflict resolution, cooking, fingernail painting, hygiene, and personal relationships. It will be all about GIRLS!!!

Are you thinking about being a hairstylist when you grow up? If so, join the Hair Styling Club! This club is designed to teach the basic techniques of hair styling. The students will explore how to meet/greet clients and create ponytails, single braids and cornrows. Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their braiding skills in a hair styling competition.

Builder's Club is the largest service organization for middle school and junior high students, with more than 45,000 members worldwide. The MSGA Builder’s Club will partner with the adult Kiwanis Club and will spend this year researching the needs of our community, designing a service project, and putting that project into action to improve our school and community.

The Man UP Club is open to all MSGA boys that would like to develop strong character and life skills. Club members will be taught basic etiquette, tying ties, grooming, making introductions, physical fitness, police relations, and more. A goal of the club is to find your hidden potential—so Man UP and join our club!

If you love math then you will love the math club. We will do all kinds of fun things related to math.

If you enjoy playing card games and completing puzzles, you will enjoy participating in the Puzzle and Card Game Club. Students will learn the rules and origins of different card games including UNO, UNO Attack, War, Concentration, and Go Fish to name a few. Students will also work in teams to complete intricate puzzle designs.

It’s not just what we know, it’s how we find out! The Science Club will allow you to learn about a variety of natural science phenomena through guided research and hands-on experimentation. Whether it's animals, space, plants, electricity, chemicals, humans, forensics, radiation, bacteria, or dinosaurs, what we learn is entirely up to you. You bring the questions, we'll find the answers together.

The Scrapbooking Club provides an opportunity for students to display photos in an attractive album and to enhance the pictures individually. This is a relaxing and therapeutic way for students to unwind while also creating a lifetime of enjoyment. Scrapbooking tools will be provided for use, but students must bring their card stock, pictures and album.

The purpose of this club is to promote physical fitness through physical activities and for each student to identify personal goals for improving overall fitness and body image. Shape Up Club practices warm-up activities such as stretching, walking, line dancing, and more.

If you want to learn about the basics of playing soccer and have some fun with your classmates, then join the Soccer Club!

Students will be given the opportunity to receive assistance with academic content, opportunities to complete missing assignments, work on projects requiring access to technology and allotted time to work with The Learning Odyssey software. Students must arrive with all required materials.

Typing club is designed to help students develop speed and accuracy by learning the touch operation of alphanumeric/keyboard characters. Typing faster is not the primary objective of keyboarding; rather, it is a desired side effect. Once students are able to type with all ten fingers without needing to look down at the keyboard, their overall productivity when using a computer will improve dramatically.

Computer literacy has become a core element of K-12 education, with students now expected to master keyboarding skills before college. In fact, several of the Common Core Standards require keyboarding. Come join our club!

Being active is the secret to staying healthy and walking is one of the easiest ways to get moving. This is a great club to get exercise into your day and build stronger relationships. This club plans walks and encourages healthy lifestyles.

This club will use young adult/adolescent coloring books and will have the opportunity to write about the picture they chose to color. Come join us!

The Yoga and Meditation Club is here to help you stretch and strengthen your body, relax your mind, and release the stress of life and school.
